Karen - Your readers might be interested in Charlottesville Tomorrow's coverage of this issue from December 11, 2007. I might suggest a few clarifications. First, the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors was not involved in this decision. North Pointe still stands as an approved rezoning. In November, County staff rejected the preliminary site plan for a small residential part of the North Pointe development. They did so for a number of reasons, one of which was inadequate sewer capacity. An issue that is also going to impact NGIC's expansion. The Albemarle County Service Authority is holding a meeting with property owners and developers in this part of the County in January to start planning out a solution to the sewer requirements. Hope this is helpful. Brian Wheeler, Charlottesville Tomorrow
