Hares took over the airport in Milan and closed it down!
If you're visual person, you can just picture them trying to catch the hares... and how much this problem cost the airlines.
Some things in life are beyond our control it appears, so we should always remember the "Serenity Prayer" as this clearly is beyond what any of us could control.
I believe this was a first for an airport, but others will be scouting the adjacent grounds as well.
