Events in Charlottesville & Central Virginia This Weekend (Nov. 2-4, 2007)

Don't miss one of the biggest events of the year this weekend in Charlottesville, the Virginia Film Festival. This year's theme is "Kin Flicks", movies about families. More info:

Sunday, enjoy a Concert in the Gallery Series at the new Louisa Arts Center: Peter Fields & the Anthem TrioWorld-class musicians playing Peter Fields' award-winning compositions, innovative interpretations of chamber music, and World Music, including Brazilian and Celtic. Saturday take a day trip to Tidewater for the Isle of Wight Publique Ffaire. A re-creation of a 17th century Public Market Day between Native Americans and Colonial Re-enactors. Featuring historic and modern Indian crafts, colonial trades demonstrations, dancing and music, re-enactments and educational discussions. More info:
